We’re nearly there! The fantastic Diamond Jubilee Party weekend begins on Saturday in London and around the Country. We will all be congratulating Her Majesty on her long successful reign and enjoying a 4 day holiday (well some people will!) We are open at the Pottery for a jolly time Saturday, Monday and Tuesday 10.30 – 4.30 and welcome you all if you are in Debenham Suffolk! There is bunting all around the Village and everywhere looks so bright and cheery which is exactly what we need at the moment! Come and purchase your souvenirs, or if you can’t get here ring me and I will send them to you!

Another Bank Holiday is looming and we are expecting many visitors to the Pottery as it’s the first “proper” week’s holiday for everyone with an anticipation of good weather!

It’s a beautiful Spring Teapot Day!

Well here we are on a beautiful Spring May day with all the birds singing and the Swifts flying low through the skies! Sounds lovely doesn’t it and I am afraid this won’t last and so we have to make the most of the day – and that’s the philosophy of Carter’s – make the most of the day as we don’t know what tomorrow will bring!
The Jubilee has brought us so much work that we are very happy and long may it continue into the rest of the year, with foreign tourists coming to the British Isles and especially to London. We are very lucky here as the rest of the world loves Britain for our “quirkiness” and our amazing designs that we produce, look at Burberry, Mulberry and of course Tony Carters Teapots!

Jubilee Commemorative Pots!

What a rubbish April we have had?! We are on the one hand told that we are in a drought and on the other we are experiencing miserable wet weather!!

What an amazing mixture of weather we are having! First rain and then sunshine – typical April showers! We are busy in the Pottery with the Jubilee making for shops throughout the World and Town and Parish Councils, as everyone is so eager to get their commemorative piece for the special day which is fast approaching. Diamond Jubilee Flag Teapot Causes a Stir

We have had a fabulous response to our Jubilee teapots. We have a had a few enquiries about whether the Diamond Jubilee Flag Teapot has the flag the right way up. The picture on the web site shows the spout on the left, and it may look like that this is the flagpole. The Flagpole is on the right and the wide white part of the flag is correct at the top of the Flagpole. Just to confirm here are a couple more pictures.

Carters Teapots featured in the Telegraph today!

Today we have been featured in the Daily Telegraph and had huge numbers of people ringing us about ordering our JubileeTeapots!! Very exciting for us as we are only a small company as you will understand when you speak to us on email or the phone! I would also like to point out that our Flag Teapot is the correct way round with the flagpole on the right and the wide white part of the flag at the top of the flagpole, as some people seem to think we have got wrong!
