Well I hope you managed to read about us in the Daily Telegraph!
( Click here to read the original article) some lovely pictures and a very good article by Richard Tyler! Pity I have now been re-named as Angela!
Watch out for our new designs in the pictures behind us!!
All the best!

Well this is it – 2012 – and we are now fully back at work and raring to go! Tony is frantically working on his new designs (hush hush top secret!) and has been up to his neck in plaster (only making new models and designs- not because he has broken an arm or leg!!) We have lots of new designs coming up for this year and are very excited as we will be keeping busy getting heavily involved with making pots for the Queen’s Jubilee and the Olympics!
When we came back on Tuesday we found that the telephone line was not working but luckily for us it was the providers problem as the engineer turned up this morning and opened the manhole in the road outside to find the problem there! All is now functioning perfectly so you can ring me anytime and I will answer!!
The sun is out and the wind has abated and all the bulbs are poking through the ground and even though we are still in Winter there seems to be more optimism as we have got through this far without snow (mustn’t speak too soon though!). We even have some Daffodils to cheer us in the Pottery!
Bye for now!
Anita
Nearly there now and all the Teapot presents are wrapped – aren’t they?!! We wish you all a Happy Christmas and a Teapot New Year from all of us here at the Pottery!
Best wishes and Happy Christmas Holiday!
Anita
Yes we’re nearly there and all those Teapots you’ve bought for your friends and relations are going to be prized by them! Just imagine their excitement when they open them on Christmas morning! I’m still giving our Teapots to my relations this year as they keep asking for one which always surprises me. I stopped giving them for a while but they were all disappointed about not receiving a Teapot! After all I would have thought that having received one for over 30 years they would have run out of space – but no!
There’s still time to get on the phone to buy a Teapot – I can arrange a delivery for you, so ring me and I will see what I can organise!
Happy Carters Teapot buying!
Anita
Well it’s the weekend and no doubt we’ll all be busy buying and wrapping presents as well as putting up the decorations in the house (except you organised people who have already done it!)
This weekend is traditionally the panic one where you suddenly realise you haven’t bought your presents and rush to the Computer (because you can’t face the crowds in the Town or City!) I anticipate a lot of orders in on Monday this coming week and frantic phone calls from last minute shoppers! Of course I will pull out all the “stops” to get your orders out to you – so just pick up the phone and speak to me or order online and I will arrange it!
Anita
Only 12 days to go before Christmas Day! The Pottery is humming with activity as we frantically make the orders for shops and for our customers who order online! There have been so many lovely comments from our online customers as we give that personal service that people miss nowadays. How many times have you been online to order and not been able to pick up the phone and actually speak to someone who knows who you are and what you have ordered? We pride ourselves on being a small friendly company who really do care that you have bothered to buy one of our Teapots!
As I said in my Blog, the last day for posting abroad with Royal Mail was Monday 12th December so if you are happy for me to send out and you can receive this after the Christmas period!
Another happy customer on the phone this afternoon wanting some teapots sent to his relations in the US! How much nicer it is for someone to contact me direct rather than filling out a boring online form on the Computer! I love speaking to people especially the ones that buy our Teapots and heap loads of praise on us, which of course I take personally being the one contact they have! We all love to get praise and our job is to make you feel that you have bought something totally unique – which if course you have – it makes the day go by making you feel happy!
Bye for now!
