Spring is sprung!

Here I am back to write another blog! It is nearly the end of February and we have been very busy producing new designs for all our teapot collectors and friends!
Time flies by so quickly I hadn't noticed the Blog hasn't been updated since just before Christmas! As I am the only one out of the two of us that does the Blog I think it's me you should blame!

We are now getting ready to post our new Teapot designs onto the website and hope that you like them! Tony has been modelling some new little momento items which will be ready for the website hopefully for Easter so keep watching!

Happy Christmas to all our customers

We are nearly there! Christmas is just around the corner and we have had a successful time getting everyones order out on time.

The Christmas Open Weekend went very well with our Auction on the Sunday raising money for the local Hospice. We celebrated our 30th Christmas Open Weekend and the Draw prize was won by Mrs Valerie Barron who co-incidentally has attended every one of our Weekends since 1999! The Collectors Club Draw Prize Teapot was won by Mrs Susan Mersh who had been a collector for 7 years! Loyal customers - that's what we like!
We will all be taking a deserved rest for 11 days of annual holiday but look forward to seeing new and old customers in 2008.
Happy Christmas from Tony, Anita, Carol, Jill, Sarah,Debbie, Anne and all the rest of the staff!

Christmas Open Weekend Fast Approaching!

Well we are nearly there! It's only 2 more days before our 30th Christmas Open Weekend and this year we are having an Auction on Sunday at 2.30 with 20 unique items from the Pottery! We have our usual demonstrations of making and painting Teapots, a prize draw for the Collectors and a general draw for all our other customers who attend on either day. And with complimentary mulled wine to loosen those purse strings we are hoping for a good turn out to support our Charity for this year The St Elizabeth Hospice in Suffolk!
Both Tony and myself look forward to meeting you all again this weekend.

Autumn is here!

After a long break not writing the blog I am now back in full flow! It is half term now and the children are coming in to paint their Christmas presents for parents and grandparents and it's good to see them noisily creating their pieces here in the Pottery!
We are very busy making Teapots for the new Cruise Liner Queen Victoria which is to be launched very soon. Ships, Liferings and Baskets are the Teapots that will grace this new Liner in it's Gift Shop and customers from all around the World will be purchasing a "little bit of Britain"!
Looking forward - on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December 2007 we are having on our Christmas Open Weekend. Invitations will be sent out to our Collectors Club Members and customers who have visited the Pottery throughout the years, but all are welcome. This year we are having an Auction on Sunday at 2pm which will be conducted by famous Auctioneer Edward Fletcher! This is a must for all of you coming to visit or you can phone in your bids! More details to be posted later.

Is this the end of our Summer?!

It's an unbelievable 31st August and we have definitely been cheated out of our Summer! Well there is no need to go on about it, we are going to have a scorching September and our customers will be enjoying the delights of the Pottery, watching our amazing teapots being made and marvelling at the fact that we still make them here in England!
For those of you who have been watching our website regularly you will know that we have introduced some new "funky" lines in the Vase and Dish section. We thought, for those of you that would like something a bit different we would bring out the Perfect Man Vase and the Rollerskate Vase as well as the Pipe Dish and the Spectacle Dish!
With the Autumn fast approaching (have you seen the leaves are turning already!?) we are encouraging people to come and create some wonderful works of art in peace (once the children are back at School!)
We will be thinking about introducing some homemade soups once the weather gets colder and so there will be even more reason to visit us at the Teapot Pottery here in Debenham and enjoy a comfortable relaxing time.
Watch out for next month's special offers!
